Why it is Important to Maintain & Service your Roller Shutters

Why it is important to maintain & service your roller shutters

More often than not warehouse or factory users forget or are too busy to maintain or service their roller shutters.

As we get busy with our money making businesses, we should not forget that being able to operate our roller shutters with no issues on a daily basis is also extremely important.

What happens if it stops working

If one were to imagine that over time due to trapped dust and dirt particles, a roller shutter panel gets stuck or misaligned.

What this could mean is that due to temporary malfunction of the roller shutter panel, you are not able to bring down your roller shutters for that day.

If that happens and if your products or goods within your warehouse or factory unit are worth thousands or millions, won’t it be a huge risk as anyone could have access to your unit?

Urgent repairs not available all the time

Sometimes, urgent repairs are not possible as roller shutter companies need time to measure and fabricate the roller shutter parts which are made to size.

There is usually a misconception that roller shutters are of standard sizes but in fact, they are all customised products and do not come in fixed sizes. Sometimes, parts will also need to be ordered and it may take time for the parts to arrive.
