Sometimes certain companies may decide to install air conditioning units within industrial spaces such as within a warehouse or factory space. There are various types of aircon available in the market and we may usually find ceiling cassette or wall mount aircon units installed in industrial spaces most of the time.
Location of Aircon Installed
As the names suggest, ceiling cassette aircon units are usually installed on ceilings while wall mount aircon units are usually installed on walls. If there is no available space left on the walls, the next best space would probably be to install ceiling cassette aircon units on the ceiling.
Size & Height of Space to Cool
Typically different aircon types are also used to cool spaces depending on the size or ceiling height of the premises. For larger spaces with higher ceiling, ceiling cassette units are usually installed as wall mount units may not be as effective in cooling down such spaces. Wall mount aircon units are sometimes installed for smaller ancillary office spaces with lower ceiling height.
Cooling Capacity & Power Required
Depending on the cooling capacity or BTU (British Thermal Units) capacity required, an aircon specialist or contractor would be able to advise your company on which type of aircon units would be more suitable based on the type of industrial space and business operational requirements of your company. Generally ceiling cassette aircon units are more suitable for larger spaces while wall mount aircon units are suitable for smaller spaces with lower ceiling height.
